Resident Concern over Landfill Odor in Wisconsin Town Grows

The Menomonee Falls Patch is reporting (http://menomoneefalls.patch.com/groups/around-town/p/flagrant-fragrance-does-the-landfill-smell-stronger-than-usual) that residents near a Menomonee Falls-area landfill have been complaining of more significant landfill odors lately.  The landfill odor has been a problem in the past but residents claim it has gotten worse recently, causing them to keep their windows closed.  They also note that the odor is now being observed in areas that it wasn’t before, including Appleton and Pilgrim.  A spokesman for Waste Management, which runs the landfill stated that if proper landfill cover procedures are being used, then the landfill odor should not be a problem.
I do not currently represent anyone at this site, however  I have represented over a thousand individuals around the country in various odor nuisance cases.   To find out how Zakariah Johnson, PLLC  can help, contact environmental attorney Zakariah Johnson at 904-553-7193 or via email at zjohnson@zjohnsonlaw.com.
