Upper Michigan Source.com is reporting (http://www.uppermichiganssource.com/news/story.aspx?id=948101#.UjyBcV3K068) that odors from the Escanaba Paper Company in Escanaba, Michigan have been bothering residents for two months, since July of this year.  The mill’s spokesperson cited its wastewater treatment plant as the source of the problem and said that they are adding a chemical to the water to try to cut the odor, but noted that because of how large it is it will take some time for the odor to be reduced.  The mill has received 74 complaints thus far this year.
